HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
Association offices will be closed on Thursday July 4th in observance of Independence Day, all calls and emails will be returned as quickly as possible upon our return.
Fireworks are Not Permitted
Per City Ordinance, NO fireworks are allowed within the city limits. For more information, please contact Fire Administration at 972-237-8300. If you see questionable activity please contact the police (911) immediately, as the association does not have the ability to enforce City Ordinance violations when the violation occurs. After the fact: Owners captured on video surveillance shooting off fireworks can
face potential suspension of amenities privileges. All video surveillance will be reviewed by onsite management and the Board of Directors. Additionally, fines could be imposed.

Do not call and report fireworks to the management company, please call 911 immediately.

Fireworks Safety Tips for Families

Fireworks can result in severe burns​, blindness, scars and even death. Fireworks that are often thought to be safe, such as sparklers, can reach temperatures above 1000°Fahrenheit, and can burn users and bystanders. Families should attend community fireworks displays run by professionals rather than using fireworks at home. 
If you or someone becomes injured or you want to report illegal activity please call 911 immediately!

Pets and the 4th
Unlike people, pets don’t associate the noise, flashes, and burning smell of pyrotechnics with celebrations. Pets are terrified of fireworks, and often panic at the loud whizzes and bangs they produce. Please remember yours and others pets during your 4th of July Celebrations
NOTICE TO OWNERS

The Kirby Creek Village Board of Directors hopes you are all having a great summer. We wanted to take a minute to remind you of some important information regarding the Kirby Creek Common Area Amenities. KCV amenities include: tennis court, pool and clubhouse, these are for the private use of the residents in the Kirby Creek Village Homeowners Association. All common area amenities can be used by owners whose accounts are current and in good standing. The pool and tennis courts require key card access, if you do not have a key card you must contact the association to obtain one. The clubhouse may be rented by homeowners whose accounts are current and in good standing, rental fees do apply.

There has been an uptick in violation activity by owners and their guests which has resulted in fines and suspensions. Please keep in mind when using the amenities that you are aware of the rules and regulations. Most of the violations so far this summer have occurred at the pool and during clubhouse rentals. The Board of Directors in accordance with the association By Laws do have the right to establish and enforce fines and penalties for violations.

Owners found holding the pool gate open for others to gain access will face immediate suspension and will have their account forwarded to the Board of Directors for further review. The Association takes safety very seriously, allowing unauthorized access to others is strictly prohibited. Jumping the pool fence is grounds for immediate suspension and fines imposed by the Board. The above mentioned violations have already taken place this summer, it is imperative that you understand the liability you place on yourself and the association by granting access to those who do not have a pool card. Habitual violators could face indefinite suspension and steep fines.

The pool rules are in place to protect you and your guests as well as the association. It is very important that you understand and follow the pool rules, if you have specific questions please contact our offices. The Board of Directors considers any violation to the pool rules a serious matter. This season more than 10 homeowner key cards have been placed under suspension.

The safety of our owners and their families is very important to us, we have seen an increase in children coming to the pool without adult supervision. Children under 16 years of age are not allow without a parent or guardian, photo ID is required.

Proper Swim Attire is required and you will be asked to vacate the pool if you or your guests are found swimming in street clothes. By wearing proper swim attire you reduce the risk of contaminating the pool with waterborne illness and contaminants. Cotton and some other materials can hold detergents, germs, and bacteria in them, which can be released into the water. This can cause swimmers to get sick and even affect the water chemistry and clarity. Cotton also tends to absorb a lot of water and pool chemicals, requiring the pool to use more disinfectant. Additionally, when the cotton absorbs the pool water it can become pretty heavy, which can weigh down swimmers and make swimming more difficult. Cotton T-Shirts also tend not to fit tight to the body, which can increase your risk of underwater entrapment. Cotton also breaks down in the water, which clogs the pool filter system. Certain dyed materials can also release some of the dye into the pool water causing poor water clarity and water balance. Lycra and Nylon are the best non-absorbent material for swimming and are the best fabrics for proper swim attire.
Appropriate swim attire includes:
  • A bathing suit, swim trunks, or "board shorts"
  • Attire worn for SCUBA diving or surfing (rash guard/wet suit)
  • Short or long sleeved shirts and /or tights and/or shorts made of synthetic material such as "Lycra" or "Spandex"
  • Swim attire must be clean, must not restrict movement, or create a safety hazard.
Swim attire that is not permitted includes but not limited to:
  • Underwear
  • Clothing that has been "cut off" including jean shorts
  • Jeans or sweat pants
  • Attire with exposed metal zippers and/or rivets

Homeowners are allowed ONE pool card per household.

We have recently updated our pool rules, they're posted below. Please note, we are in the process of having the outdoor pool rule signs updated and we will have them posted very soon. In the mean time, you may request a printed copy from the Association Office or onsite Pool Manager.

Pool Hours: 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday-Sunday

As Members of the Kirby Creek Homeowners Association, all Homeowners share liability for any accident that may occur in the pool area.  It is to your benefit to follow these rules so a safe swimming experience is ensured.

Homeowner accounts in good standing will have access to the pool facility. Our onsite Pool Manager will be assisting at the gate. Onsite pool management will be given an updated list from BFMC which notes who is allowed access to the pool. The Onsite Pool Manager does  NOT  have access to private accounting information and cannot resolve your account.

If your pool card has been suspended this means your account is past due. You must call our offices in order to discuss the account further. 972-644-3801 x-110 or you may reach us by email: kirbycreekvillage@yahoo.com

If you have misplaced your card, pool card replacements are $30.00 and the funds must be received prior to a replacement being sent to you. Onsite personnel does not carry extra cards, they are mailed directly from our main offices.

If your card does not work or your name is not on the list as an owner who has an active card you must contact the Association Offices to resolve. The Pool Manager will advise that you email or call the offices during normal business hours. They will not grant entry for owners who are not on the list.

Pool Rules

As Members of the Kirby Creek Homeowners Association, all Homeowners share liability for any accident that may occur in the pool area.  It is to your benefit to follow these rules so a safe swimming experience is ensured.

  1. Pool restricted to Residents and up to FOUR guests. Guests must be accompanied by Resident. Photo ID required.
  2. NO person under 16 years of age allowed without parent or guardian. Photo ID required.
  3. Proper swim wear only, NO cut-offs, NO diapers of any kind allowed in the pool.
  4. NO person with skin abrasions, open sores, cuts, skin disease, eye disease, nasal or ear discharge, or communicable disease allowed in pool.
  5. NO person shall alter or remove safety equipment (Ring Buoy and Shepherd’s Crook) except in a bona fide emergency. These are for emergencies only and are NOT toys. People violating this rule will be asked to leave the pool. Continued violation will result in suspension of pool privileges.
  6. NO person is allowed to play with the weir gates located inside the skimmer wells. This equipment helps the pool skim dirt from the surface of the water and keeps the pool clean. Those found removing these Gates and destroying the flotation foam will be asked to leave the pool.
  7. NO sharp objects or glass of any kind are allowed in the pool or pool area.
  8. NO pets allowed in the pool or pool area.
  9. NO running, rough play, ball playing, pushing, or wrestling in the pool or pool area.
  10. NO diving. NO Flips, NO Jumping of any kind into the pool. Due to the size and minimal depth of the pool these restrictions are for your safety. You will be asked to leave the facility immediately.  
  11. NO profanity or obscene language allowed.
  12. NO eating, drinking or smoking in the pool.
  13. NO barbeque grills.
  14. When the gate is locked, the pool is closed. The pool is closed on a regular maintenance schedule or for other maintenance or regulatory reasons. Stay out of the pool when it is closed. Crawling under or climbing over the fence in order to enter the pool area is considered trespassing. Trespassers will be prosecuted.
  15. Only water toys allowed in the pool area, no skate boards, skates, roller blades, bicycles allowed in the pool or pool area.
  16. The pool and pool area are not to be used by any clubhouse renter or their guests.
  17. The pool gate is only to be opened with an active card registered to your address. You are responsible for your guest(s) entry and exit from the facility and they must remain with you at all times. Anyone found holding the gate open, or manually pushing the EXIT button to allow people into the pool area will be asked to leave the facility immediately, your card will be suspended and you will be reported to the management office for further review of privileges.

No Trespassing
Please keep children, pets and motorized vehicles away from the edges of both ponds. The large pond is deep and the slopes are steep. If you see anyone camping or fishing near either pond, call the police. Trespassing is against the law. Please call the police with concerns.

Signs are posted around both ponds to reduce KCVA's liability in the case of accidental injury or drowning.
