Member Spotlight

If you have spent any time in the Kirk Wellness Center, you've likely seen Renita Nea l. She joined the Kirk Family YMCA about a year ago, after her Dr. told her she was at risk of a heart attack or stroke because of her weight. She joined the Y the next day, and has lost 112 pounds since!

Renita credits the strong support system and fun Group Exercise classes at the Y to her successful fitness journey. Since joining the Y she no longer needs her blood pressure pills, doesn't have knee issues and can clean her home without being out of breath! She enjoys hiking at the Cascades and Mill Mountain, as well as Body Step, Functional Fitness and Zumba classes. Instead of skipping water fun while vacationing in New England as she normally would, she decided to jump right in this time around!

Bingo For Breast Cancer

Mindfulness and Meditation

Mindfulness is a practice of being aware of your thoughts, sensations and emotion in each moment. As a participant in this eight-week Mindfulness Stress Reduction Group, you will learn about and practice mindfulness techniques designed to reduce stress and increase self-awareness.
Fall Boot Camp

Session Two:
Nov 11-Dec 19
T & Th 6:30-7:30PM

This six week camp is designed to keep you active and fit. Join us for
one hour of interval and circuit training geared toward beginner and
intermediate exercisers. Measurements and fitness testing performed at beginning and end. 
MixxedFit Class- NEW!

This people-inspired fitness program combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. This group exercise class incorporates different elements all of which are designed to tone, strengthen and increase endurance.
Join Our Aquatics Team!

The Kirk Family YMCA is now hiring part-time lifeguards.

Our lifeguards are responsible for the safety of swimmers and for the enforcement of all pool rules and regulations. They will maintain a safe and fun environment and perform general maintenance tasks.
Swim Lessons

One of our top priorities is to teach youth, teens, and adults to swim, so they can stay safe around water and learn the skills they need to make swimming a lifelong pursuit for staying healthy.

We offer public, private and semi-private lessons for all ages and abilities!
Flag Football Mini Camp

Join us for this unique and exciting new program! This is a developmental four-week mini camp-style program designed to teach your child the fundamental skills of football, as well as leadership and character development. This camp will take place at Highland Park.
Kids' Night Out

Ages 2-12 Years

Drop off the kids to enjoy an evening of swimming (ages 5-12), games, crafts, and a movie. Dinner included for ages 4 to 10 years, bring a swimsuit! Register by Wed prior to program
