Group Ex Challenge

Heat things up this winter by participating in our Group X Challenge! This is a 6-week challenge where you’ll get more energy, more strength and more endurance all while building relationships and forming habits. Plus, we’ll be giving away weekly prizes!

Learn to protect yourself! This six-week course will use spirit, mind, and body to focus on scenarios and opportunities to practice hands-on training for self awareness and safety. Taught by Virginia State Police Certified Defensive Tactics Instructors.

YMCA swim lessons teach safety and responsibility around the water. Participants gain confidence and self-esteem as they work to become better, safer swimmers. All ages - from infants to seniors - can learn to swim!

Give your child the next step in swim lesson development that will prepare them for a competitive swim program. Swimmers will be introduced to the competitive side of swimming with a focus on the Y USA curriculum of stroke development and mechanics, all while having fun! Swimmers of all abilities welcome.

Father-Daughter Valentines Dance

Join us for a night of fun at the Kirk Family YMCA to celebrate a good time with Fathers and Daughters (Grandpa and Uncle are welcome too)! The night includes dancing to music, refreshments and quality bonding with friends and family.

Soccer at the Y is a great opportunity for your child to learn soccer in a constructive environment. This 8-week season is designed to grow your child not just in the sport but also in character development and sportsmanship.

Bump, set and spike your way to fun in our co-ed volleyball league. your child will learn key sills and enjoy learning how to play this sport which was invented in a YMCA! Be sure to bring a water bottle and tennis shoes.
