Kissimmee, Delray Beach and Weston Named Best Cities to Start a Small Business

In a recent study by Verizon, the top small cities to start a small business were evaluated and ranked.

Though it is true that when it comes to places rich with business growth and opportunity, small cities don't generally come first to mind. However, according to Verizon, by avoiding the chaos and competition of large cities and planting your roots in a quieter, yet equally industrious pocket of the country puts businesses in a uniquely advantageous position.

To determine the rankings, Verizon gathered data from nearly 300 cities across the country, focusing on certain factors that would categorize them as "small" without dipping below the mark to "town" status. Such factors included p opulation, e ducation, t ravel time to work, i ncome per capita, b roadband access, l oans per capita and t ax scores.
