THE KIWANIS CLUB OF NORWALK

By Marie Sacco

We had a wonderful turnout last Thursday night at The South Norwalk Boat Club.

Many Thanks to Dave Legere for setting that up for us! We also want to thank our guests,

Bob Uzenoff from The Weston Club, and Wayne Winsley from The Danbury Club

and "Brave Enough To Fail" for joining us!

At this time of year, it's important for us to look back at what we have been able to accomplish as a group of volunteers in our community.

  • Plant sale in September to support vision care in The Norwalk Public Schools!
  • We have given food donations and school supplies to The Salvation Army.
  • We have donated winter socks to The Salvation Army. We will be donating more winter clothing in the next week: hats, scarves, gloves, and some handmade mittens by Marilyn!
  • We created warm fleece blankets with a group of students and donated them to The Salvation Army.
  • We are helping The Salvation Army count their holiday donations daily.
  • We are supporting "Brave Enough To Fail" with donations.

Our Club is small, but we are "Making A Difference!" in our community!

Thank you to all of you in whatever way you have chosen to serve! You are appreciated!

Enjoy the holiday season and we look forward to 2026!
