Good morning, !

Breakfast meeting this week with two new members inducted, last chance to donate used winter wear, Kiwanians volunteer at holiday events

THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, December 13, 2025

8:30 a.m. Breakfast meeting. Membership Committee co-chair Lauren Traum will induct four new members, Susan Baron, Leila Brier, Lance Mald, and Christina Mattison, at this Saturday's meeting. Please join in celebrating these new Kiwanians.

10:00 a.m. Boards and committee chairs meet. The time is approximate; immediately after the breakfast meeting. All Kiwanians are welcome.

This Saturday's meeting is the last opportunity to donate used winter clothing for residents of Rippowam Park affordable apartments in Stamford. Frank Ferrara is collecting them for his colleague.

Frank has this thing about cold or unhappy children. In addition to securing funding and purchasing and delivering coats for coat donations to Norwal Head Start and helping his colleague collect coats for Rippowam Park, when Kiwaniscope reached Frank by phone on Tuesday, he was helping to set up an event for which he previously was an organizer, Operation Santa, presented by Community Mayors for Children With Special Needs, a children's party experience at the Delta Airlines hangar at JFK International Airport.

Families decorated gingerbread houses to bring home and enjoyed a visitor from the North Pole at the Weston Women's League's annual Family Gingerbread Event last Saturday at Norfield Congregational Church's parish hall.
