LAST WEEK

We believe this is our best wreath ever! This year’s enhancements include two large blinking red bows 🎀, gold bells 🔔, colorful lights,…and the sign is straight!

Weston Gardens provided the greens. The onion barn wreath team members included David McConnaughey, Dave Burns, Steve Thomas, Frank Ferrara, Bill Brady, Harry Spencer, and Tom Failla (not pictured). Jess DiPasquale is providing free electricity⚡️ from his nearby property, so the beautiful, large wreath is visible in the evening.

This annual tradition in Weston is on par with the Christmas tree 🎄 at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Weston Kiwanis hopes all Westonites enjoy the wreath, have happy holidays, and share their pictures.

KIWANIS CONTINUING IMPACT AT WIS

President Harry stopped by Weston Intermediate School (WIS) yesterday. The WIS resource officer noticed Harry's Kiwanis cap, and they started chatting. The officer asked Harry if he'd seen the WestonKiwanis-sponsored book vending machine (above), then proudly walked him over to show it off. (The picture above is from the dedication on September 20. 2023 with Tom Glass, Dallas Kersey, Barbara Gross, Bob Uzenoff, and Reed Ameden.)

The Kiwanis Club of Weston joined the Weston Intermediate School PTO in supporting the introduction of the "You've Been Caught Being Kind" program at WIS. (Students caught being kind are rewarded with a Kiwanis token, redeemed for a book in a vending machine.

This Kiwanis Club of Weston's impact was featured in the article below, published worldwide by Kiwanis International:
