For more than 30 years, fair-going Westonites patronizing the Kiwanis Club of Weston's food concession at the Memorial Day Weekend Fair have fueled our philanthropic and service programs benefitting Weston youth and public school programs.

At last Saturday's club meeting, Frank Ferrara reported positively on early organizational meetings with the leadership of the 2025 Memorial Day Weekend Fair, which was produced by a committee of the Hurlbutt Elementary School PTO and the Weston Intermediate School PTO in recent years.

The good news is that Kiwanis is proud to be the provider of food again at the fair and will be taking on additional responsibility for upgrading the on-premise outdoor seated dining area adjacent to our traditional serving area. While the classic popular fair menu is unchanged, the fried mozzarella will be retired this year.

🎉 New this year - fairgoers - can light up their Memorial Day Weekend celebrations. We will introduce our brand-new patriotic-themed novelty lights that are not just eye-catching but also affordable! Frank gathered a fantastic crew of consumer testers (check them out with the actual samples above!) to help us pick the best designs to offer at the fair.

Thank you, Frank. This addition will be a fun way to support the Kiwanis Club of Weston while adding a festive flair to the fair and is another way of making a difference in the lives of children and families in our community!! 💡✨
