MLK Day of Service 2026

Location: Lachat Town Farm

The Kiwanis Club of Weston has proudly responded to Friends of Lachat's grant request for their seventh annual MLK Day of Service with a donation of $1,000.

There are two additional ways Kiwanians can support the event:

  • as a participant, packing snack bags, see directly below
  • as a volunteer, helping to produce the event, beneath the partiicipant information

HELP AS A PARTICIPANT

People all across the country will observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day this January 19th in various ways. One important way to commemorate King's life and work is to participate in a day of service and reflect on the messages he spread throughout his life. Our 7th Annual MLK Day of Service is an opportunity for our community to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service and volunteerism.

Kiwanians, please consider signing up for one or more volunteer slots at Lachat Town Farm on this day to make it as meaningful as possible for all participants.
