NEWS

LAST SATURDAY

Vascular surgeon Taras Kucher M.D. briefed members on recent advances in ultrasound technology and answered many questions at the breakfast meeting on last Saturday, January 13, 2024.

HOLIDAY WREATH TAKEDOWN

On the right, Steve Thomas, Reed Ameden, Dan Lerner, Karen Chrisley, Frank Ferrara, Woody Bliss, Tom Failla, Jim McMorris and granddaughter Belle Grace, Harry Fabler, and Harry Spencer met on Monday to take down the wreath, which has been sending holiday wishes since December 2 (left picture). We gratefully acknowledge the donation of the evergreen boughs by Weston Gardens, which went into the construction of the six-foot wreath, and the gift of talent of Karen Chrisley, who made the festive bow.

See all 10 photographs by Harry Spencer (with nice selfie) and Jim McMorris in the event album.

THANK YOU

The Kiwanis Children's Fund appealed to the club for an annual gift late last year. When Weston Kiwanis trustees declined to respond to the appeal, three individual Kiwanians made directed donations to the foundation on behalf of the club, which the Kiwanis Children's Fund acknowledged in the letter received yesterday. Our latest gift brings giving by the Kiwanis Club of Weston to the Kiwanis Children's Fund since 1997 to $45,475.40 - Editor
