MEMBERS’ MILESTONES THROUGH NEXT WEDNESDAY, June 21
Pam Kersey’s birthday is this coming Wednesday. Happy birthday, Pam!

This Saturday, June 17, 2023
Norfield Congregational Church parish hall - 8:30 a.m.
As part of the meeting, we’ll quickly accomplish some business
- vote on an increase in the continental breakfast (coffee, juice, pastry) option fee from $4 to $5,
- agree on guidance for our Kiwanis International annual convention proxy, Past Lieutenant Governor Paula,
- select a representative to the Kiwanis Foundation of New England (KFNE) annual meeting, and,
- if a quorum (25) is present, vote to elect Karen Chrisley to fill President-designate Amy’s unexpired director term (through September).
For the main event, we will recognize four Weston High School youth chosen by the school professionals and staff to receive three annual Weston Kiwanis awards:
- Community Service Award ($500 for each of two recipients)
- Diane Mary Huston Schultz Memorial Award ($500 award)
- Superintendent’s Scholarship Award ($1,000 award)
Next Saturday, after breakfast, we’ll conclude our annual youth awards with the presentation of two awards:
- Dave Brown Memorial Award ($500 award)
- Weston Kiwanis Service and Leadership Awards
The selection process award production and presentation are organized and overseen by our 35th president (2015/2016), Key Club advisor, and awards committee chair, Dawn Egan.
