INTER-CLUB RELATIONS

Kiwanis division clubs Danbury and Wilton are providing welcome to Weston support as we prepare to migrate our current website and club management systems to alternates as February 29, the announced date for the current Portalbuzz platform, approaches.

Tom Connors and Saul Goldberg from Wilton and Bob Uzenoff have met by Zoom to compare and explore migration options and strategies and are working to the same deadline.

Joe Magrino, Danbury Kiwanis's technical guru, has offered to share his experience with Weston too. Joe has already migrated the Danbury website to another website platform and has established Google Workspace as an asset sharing solution.

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Danbury board met Tuesday evening at Barbarie's Grill in Danbury Fair Mall, where the club will be ringing Salvation Army kettle bells at three of the main mall entrances in December. After dinner, Joe Magrino (far right) demonstrated Danbury's new website to the board and suggested best practices.

Danbury Kiwanis Club and its foundation have board members in common, so both boards operate efficiently with a single monthly board meeting. Of course, as distinct legal entities, each board operates separately, e.g., with separate elections, meetings, minutes, and accounting.
