Good morning, !


This Saturday, for our special changing of the guard meeting, we welcome the Weston Girl Scouts. Our lieutenant governor will induct new members and, with the Governor-elect, officiate the discharge of the retiring boards and induction of the 2025/2026 boards. 8:30 a.m. Breakfast meeting with program; Induction of a new member, discharge of the 2024/2025 boards, and installation of the 2025/2026 boards.


This Saturday's meeting is one you won't want to miss.


First, to open the meeting, the Weston Girl Scouts will start our new year with the presentation of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, and leading us in "The Star-Spangled Banner." Rev. Dr. Bernard Wilson will offer the invocation.


Before breakfast, Kiwanis New England and Bermuda District Division 17 Lieutenant Governor Cindy Perham will formally induct Lauren Traum, our newest member. The board admitted Lauren on September 3. Please be there to give Lauren a warm welcome.


After breakfast, Cindy and District Governor-elect Karl Uzcategui will ceremonially lead us in thanking board members completing their service and inducting directors and officers beginning their terms of office as directors and officers of the club and foundation boards.

Getting to Know Your Fellow Kiwanian (GTKYFK)

Steve Haas shared his story with members last week. Professionally, Steve is CEO / and Principal Consultant at SH Acoustics. With a great-grandfather who was a mason who worked on some of Europe’s finest concert halls and a grandfather who was a concert pianist and violinist who played with numerous orchestras, including the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra, Steve was destined to make his mark in the field of music and acoustics.
