June 3, 10, 17 and 24, 9 a.m. - Happy Camp Uripih'uthaam (Garden Network) Project needs volunteers to help  on Wednesdays in our native plants, bucket and community gardens! Meet at Happy Camp TANF office; bring your lunch. Contact Lisa Hillman, 530-627-3446 for more information.

Food Events in May
May was a busy month up and down the river! Klamath Tribes held 6 food system focus groups in 3 towns , put in new garden beds and planted fruit trees in the community garden with help from Chiloquin High School students. Over 20 community members completed a 5-week Seed to Supper course! Yurok Tribe's Spring Fling drew dozens of people to learn about Food Security and other programs and services. The Mother's Day Plant Sale brought more plants to more moms than ever before. Kids planted popcorn in Orleans, and everyone planted bucket gardens in Happy Camp!
