I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by and summer is in full swing! It's been a busy and exciting first half of the year for the entire Mister Kleen Team. Staying true to our commitment of continual self-improvement for all, the team has been involved in many internal and external events and fundraisers. This year we've stepped up our efforts and taking it to another level with our goal of "Keen and Lean in 2013!" From a biggest loser contest that spanned nearly five months and resulted in overall weight loss of 221 pounds' to the Avon walk to support breast cancer that consisted of walking 39 miles over two days!

I'm extremely proud of our entire team and a special thank you to Connie Stewart (COO) for her leadership and participation in organizing and participating in these team events.

You will find more details and photos on this in the following pages and I hope you enjoy this edition of the Kleen Sweep. I wish you and your families a safe and enjoyable summer.

Special Services UpdateSpecialService

When it rains, it pours-be prepared for the summer! Don't let clogged gutters, down spouts or drains cause a flood at your home or business. Experiencing any kind of water damage, no matter how big or small, can be devastating.  Remember to clean all guttersand down spouts at least twice a year; check all exterior drains for debris on a bi-weekly basis; and if you have a sump pump be sure it is working.

If the unfortunate does occur,be sure to take pictures, record as much information as you can and contact your insurance agent immediately. It's not only the water damage you need to clean up, you will also need proper treatment of the area, using a commercial water extractor, a mold prevention solution and drying equipment.  Mold and germs will breed underneath the wet area and turn into something quite hazardous.

Mister Kleen's Special Services Department specializes in water damage restoration and will respond to your flood emergency. We also specialize in carpet and upholstery cleaning and complete floor care.

If you have any questions regarding our services, please feel free to call Christy Clark, Director of Field Services at (703) 719-6900, ext. 26.

Have a safe and wonderful summer!

Christy Clark, RBSM

"There has been an ongoing issue in the drains of the men's locker room. Mike washed out each of the drains.  To me this is the perfect example of going above and beyond and taking pride in his job! This is a great way to start the week and I hope more people take what Mike has done this past weekend as an example and follow in his footsteps.  Well done Mike keep up the GREAT work!"

"A big thanks for a job well done needs to go out to Quentine and Roger. Due to last minute changes with the conference, we needed cleaning support early in the morning. Without supervision these two staff members adapted to my cleaning requests and got things done in the utmost professional manner that greatly helped in getting the conference areas ready before leadership arrived. Please pass my compliments along to these individuals and Mister Kleen Management as these two professional should be recognized for their outstanding work."

"I would like to send Kudos to Rebecca who has been cleaning our floor.  She always asks me if we are happy or if there is something that needs to be cleaned.  We have two offices that can't get cleaned at night because we keep the doors locked since they are HR.  She makes an extra effort to bring the vacuum up when they request it."

"She really does put forth an extra effort and our floor likes her a lot.  Thank you to her for helping us keep it clean!"
