We're back! Live, in-concert!
Maybeck Hall, Berkeley Saturday, March 12 at 3PM
$25 - all proceeds benefit the artists
We're proud to present William Tan, the extraordinary 17-year-old cellist from Chicago who impressed the 2021 Klein judges with his "...stunning performance. Gorgeous tone, introspection, sensitivity and an awesome technique." William also won the Weiss Prize for Best Performance of the Commissioned Work.

This intimate recital (only 30 seats!) features Bach, Klenger, and Schubert (the gorgeous Sonata in A minor), with Miles Graber on piano.

William is also the creator of The Performance Project, an online resource for students to develop a specialized skill set for performances. We'll want to hear more about that! He is currently studying with Hans Jørgen Jensen (Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University), and has won numerous competitions, in addition to performing with orchestras and symphonies.

Seating is VERY limited at this historic music room designed by Bernard Maybeck - please review our COVID requirements before your purchase HERE.
Here's an excerpt from William's 2021 finals progam:
