Klyde Warren Park’s Annual Tree Lighting Celebration presented by the
Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District and benefiting North Texas Food Bank
Set your DVR or tune in live for this beloved holiday tradition, broadcast on Sunday, December 20, at 7:30 AM (CBS 11) and 4 PM (KTXA Channel 21). This socially distanced show was pre-recorded to bring a bit of Christmas to everyone staying at home this holiday season. A portion of sponsorship proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank, for whom canned goods will also be collected in the Park through December 20.
Local Handcrafted and Vintage Items
The Boho Market
Saturday, December 12, 10 AM - 4 PM
Shop in the open air and support small area businesses with a stop at The Boho Market. A great place to find last-minute holiday gifts from local vendors while spending time outside. Socially distanced booths will be set up in the Park to allow for safe shopping as you peruse wares, crafts and gifts created by talented local artisans.
Stop by the Park for a Holiday Photo Op!
The season is always a little brighter when the Park is decked with holiday décor. Come see our bright red ornament on the Pearl Lawn (before that space turns into a beautiful fountain this time next year!), and snap a photo with your friends or family. Thank you, Venue Arts and Scott Ginsburg, for giving the Park that extra special holiday sparkle!
Please, Take a Seat…
Have you noticed the chair and bench plaques in the Park? Each of these plaques represent someone special, whether it’s a beloved family member, a gifted colleague or an exceptional friend. One thing they all have in common is a forever home in Klyde Warren Park. Consider the gift of a front row seat to your favorite green space this holiday season.
Grand Tasters
Support the Restaurants that Support the Park!
Show off your craftsmanship with José’s holiday menu kits, offering multiple options and at-home video tutorials from Chef Anastacia Quiñones. Feed up to four with a Carnitas Kit, as Chef virtually sears and plates tacos with you. Or, take your pick of cheese or pork tamales made the way Chef used to make them with her mother. To wrap things up, experience some sweet holiday joy with the kids (or friends) by making Churros and Mexican Hot Chocolate Bombs. Don’t forget to add in a Peppermint Smash or Tequila Old Fashioned seasonal cocktail kit.
