Dear Lexington Catholic Families,
As we look ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, we want to express our gratitude to each of our families for being a part of our Lexington Catholic community. Each student and family brings unique gifts and contributions that enrich our school in countless ways, and we are grateful for your trust and commitment.
The process of setting tuition and fees is one we approach with the greatest care, evaluation, and vetting. Our executive staff, Finance Council, Board of Trustees, and Diocesan Schools Office work diligently to ensure that tuition rates are as affordable as possible while maintaining the exceptional quality of education and resources we provide. We want your family to feel welcome and supported at Lexington Catholic, and we are committed to helping make Catholic education accessible to all who desire it.
New for the 2025-2026 School Year
We are pleased to announce the following new initiatives designed to enhance affordability and support for our families:
-
Multi-Student Discount: Families enrolling with more than one student during the same school year will receive a $750 discount per child for each additional student beyond the first.
-
$350 Student Academic Fee: This one-time, per-student fee covers consumable textbooks, the mandatory Student Resource Officer (SRO) costs, academic course fees, reference materials, science lab supplies, art supplies, other instructional materials, some of the costs associated with class retreats, and other essential resources that support the educational experience at Lexington Catholic. These costs have been charged separately in previous years, and our hope is that combining them into one comprehensive fee will simplify the process and be more convenient and efficient for our families.
These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to balance affordability with the high-quality educational experience Lexington Catholic is known for.
Variable Tuition
Lexington Catholic offers a Variable Tuition model to make Catholic education accessible to families with a wide range of financial circumstances. Under this model:
- Tuition rates are adjusted based on each family’s verified financial need.
- FACTS Grant & Aid, an independent third-party service, assesses each family’s financial situation by considering income, core expenses, and more.
- This assessment determines a tuition amount tailored to each family’s unique situation.
Tuition Assistance
Lexington Catholic is proud to offer a significantly enhanced tuition assistance program, made possible through the generosity of donors to:
-
The uKnight Fund
-
The Father Norman Fischer Tuition Assistance Fund
-
The Heyward “Sonny” and Emmabel Tibbs Fund
-
The Daniel Rudd Foundation Grant
With these resources and changes, it is our hope that a Lexington Catholic education will be within reach for any family who seeks it. We are committed to making Catholic education more accessible, particularly for underserved students. Furthermore, we strive to foster an inclusive community where students from all backgrounds can thrive spiritually, academically, and socially.
Tuition assistance is awarded based on verified financial need through FACTS Grant & Aid. Families are encouraged to apply early, as funding is limited. This application must be renewed annually. The online application for Tuition Assistance is open now. Tuition Assistance dollars are limited so apply early and submit all required materials by April 15, 2025.
Scholarships for Incoming 9th Graders
Lexington Catholic is thrilled to offer two exceptional scholarship opportunities for incoming 9th-grade students for the 2025-2026 school year, generously funded by the Smiley Family Foundation:

The Smiley Family Foundation Scholarship for Catholic Excellence and Service: This highly competitive $10,000 scholarship is awarded to a limited number of students who exemplify Catholic values and a strong dedication to service.

Fundraising and Family Contributions
The full cost to educate a student at Lexington Catholic is $19,500. No family pays the full cost. Families pay between 30-90% of the full cost to educate, meaning everyone receives a discount.
To sustain discounted tuition rates and significant tuition assistance offering, fundraising is essential. Events such as Hoagies, Mid-Knight Stakes, the raffles, and contributions to the uKnight Fund play a vital role in bridging the gap between tuition revenue and operational costs. Participation in these efforts is expected of all families to help ensure affordability and the continued excellence of our programs.
We are committed to ensuring that the many benefits of Catholic education are accessible and available to children and families who value faith-based learning. Thank you for choosing Lexington Catholic High School. We are honored to serve your family and look forward to the incredible contributions your student(s) will make as part of our growing school community.
Warm regards,
Mr. Rob Rumpke Mr. Mathew George
President Principal
