UPDATE
Brothers - We are well on our way to achieving the goal of purchasing an ultrasound for the Support Circle Clinic in Oakland. With over $5K from the screening event, the $2k from the initial council investment in September, donations being received by mail, we were almost half way to the ~$20,000 goal. With the current proposal to contribute Crab Feed Fund-a-Need funds (see minutes on website, vote at May business meeting), we will be over the half-way mark. With continued outreach to community, we will be there soon.
Tables For Large Hall
If you missed the last business meeting, you missed the vote to allocate almost $5K for the purchase of additional new tables for the St Michael Large Hall. These round and rectangular tables, which will be arriving soon, will be available for our events and for the events of other ministries, like the exciting Alpha program coming in the fall.

"I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly."

John 10:10
Did you hear the one ...
Submitted by a Brother Knight...

A Jesuit, a Dominican, and a Franciscan were walking along an old road, debating the greatness of their orders. Suddenly, an apparition of the Holy Family appeared in front of them, with Jesus in a manger and Mary and Joseph praying over him.

The Franciscan fell on his face, overcome with awe at the sight of God born in such poverty.
The Dominican fell to his knees, adoring the beautiful reflection of the Trinity and the Holy Family.
The Jesuit walked up to Joseph, put his arm around his shoulder, and said, "So, have you thought about the boy’s education?
