Schedules & Change Requests

Student schedules are available through ParentsWeb. Please log into your ParentsWeb account and click on Student Information > Schedules. If your schedule is not available, please be patient as schedules are populated individually ensuring you have the classes you need/want.

Change requests can be made through the first week of school. Drop/add deadline is Friday, August 16 (for DE or AP classes, deadline is August 23).

Back to School Night & New Family Orientation

Thursday, August 8

5:00 – 6:00  New students arrive & meet their teachers
6:00 – 6:30  New parent meeting in the gymnasium
6:30 – 7:30  Social in the lobby, volunteer opportunities, events and athletics information
Schedules and locker information will be available upon arrival.

Friday, August 9 – First day of classes (half day)
Uniforms are not required Friday – it is a non-uniform day for all students. Please adhere to DCS dress policy for "jeans days." School is dismissed at 11:30.

Students will have 20 minute classes. Due to the shortened schedule, there will be no mid-morning break and lunch will not be provided.
7:45 – 8:00: Student check-in (school lobby)
8:00 – 8:30: Welcome, devotions, prayer, first day procedures, and information (gym)
8:15: 6th Grade Parent Meet & Greet
8:30 – 11:30:  Periods 1-8 (short classes) – meet your teachers, receive syllabus, and information
Monday, August 12 – First full day (regular classes)

Monday is a full day of school. Khaki or navy pants and DCS uniform polo. If your uniform order has not come in, please adhere to the uniform standard as closely as possible.
Uniforms are ordered through our DCS Lands End Portal. Please order online. For more information, please reference our "Uniform Ordering Instructions" page.
August Lunch Ordering

Order Portal for August Lunch Orders is now open. Orders are due by Wednesday, 7/31/2019 (Midnight). Sign-in to Parents Web > Student > Lunch. 
Once you click the “CREATE WEB ORDER” button you must proceed to payment to avoid duplicate or unprocessed order items.

Payment options now include Debit/Credit Card!

After School Program (daily, 3:30 – 5:30) – Starting Monday, August 12
Dominion has established an after school program to help parents who need a safe environment for their students after normal school hours. ASP runs from 3:30 – 5:30 each regular full day of school (not half days or scheduled early dismissals).
For security purposes, we are compelled to ensure your students are in a safe and supervised environment. Therefore our after-school program is mandatory for all students (grades 6-12) remaining on campus after 3:30. If students are not picked up by 3:30, they will be held in room 1109 (located in the main lobby) until parents arrive and sign them out. 
Cost of the program: $10 per day (not to exceed $150 month). ASP will be billed on the following month’s tuition note.
Note: ASP is not charged for students waiting for athletic practices, students waiting on their siblings at practice, or students staying for scheduled help class with a teacher until 4:00
Aug 9: First day of school (1/2 day)
Aug 19: Jr./Sr. Parent Night
Aug 31: Grandparents Day (1/2 day)
Sep 3: Labor Day (no school)
Sep 22-26:Fall Break
