Live the holiness that God gave to you in Christ!
MR. PHILIP PUNZEL IS COMING TO TOWN
Dear Luther Family,

I trust all is well. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as your principal. I am looking forward to working alongside you. I was asked to share a brief bio.

Goals have, are, and will always be important tools that make me tick. I am grateful for the people in my life who have taught me how to be a goal-orientated person. As an educator I strive to lead my students to see the value of setting goals for themselves.

I am thankful for Christian parents and grandparents who shared God's Word with me. They modeled how to put God first in their lives and to trust that He was always with them. They also taught me the value of hard work.

I am thankful for the blessings that the Lord has given to me through my wife Janelle. Janelle loves hiking and is excited to explore the beauty of the La Crosse area. I am thankful for the blessing of three children. My daughter Eliza will graduate this spring from Martin Luther College. My son Zeb will finish his technical college program at Southeast Minnesota State Technical College in Red Wing this spring. My son Zeke will graduate from Fox Valley Lutheran.  He plans on attending Colorado Mesa University next fall.

In 2016 the Lord allowed me to face the earthly challenge of colon cancer. I am thankful for the work and blessings of numerous doctors and nurses who helped me through surgery, chemo, and radiation.

I am thankful for my 26 years of ministry in the Fox Valley. I have had the opportunity to learn from some great educators. I look forward to using my experience at Luther.

God Bless,

Phil Punzel

GIVING THANKS FOR ONALASKA STAFF
Are you looking for a way to honor teachers, paraprofessionals, custodian, bus drivers, administrators, coaches, or any school staff who made a difference or had a profound effect in your child’s life? We want you to join us in recognizing these individuals for all they have done.

The Onalaska Education Foundation would like to give students and parents the opportunity to recognize the tremendous efforts of Onalaska school staff during these unprecedented times of the coronavirus pandemic. Giving Thanks for Onalaska School Staff is a tribute program that allows community members to recognize the amazing people in our schools. By making a donation to the Onalaska Education Foundation, you can celebrate our excellent teachers, paraprofessionals, custodian, bus drivers, administrators, coaches, or any school staff. The Foundation provides funds for innovative educational programs or creative projects that will help inspire both teachers and students to achieve educational excellence.

With each donation, the honored school staff member will receive a thank you card with your name and a personal note to accompany the card. We will notify the person honored of your gift to the foundation without disclosing the amount.

All tax-deductible donations, large or small, are welcomed and appreciated. With your support, we can continue to make a difference!
