SCRIP Program - Gift cards and certificates to a wide variety of businesses are available for purchase through the school office.  Using Scrip for purchases you normally would make can earn income to be credited to a current or future Luther High student. Details about the Scrip program are available in the school office.

Tuition Assistance Application from Luther High School - For WELS members FACTS Tuition Assistance filing deadline is February 15th.

Tuition Assistance from home congregation -Ask your pastor if your congregation has such a program and whom to contact

Good Steward Volunteer Program (Contact Pastor Sachs for details) 

Family Support - Perhaps a grandparent or sponsor would be able to provide financial assistance with tuition
Student Tuition Endowment Fund (STEF) –Interest from this permanent fund can provide each Luther High student a tuition grant.   For the 2020/2021 school year each student is eligible to receive $200.

Grant from Luther High School - For the 2020/2021 school year each student is eligible to receive $325.

Grant from Friends of Luther - For the 2020/2021 school year each student is eligible to receive $100.

Grant from Good Steward Store - For the 2020/2021 school year each student is eligible to receive $200.
Taste Passport Book
To continue providing financial support for extra programs and projects that inspire teachers and students in Onalaska schools, the Onalaska Education Foundation is selling Taste Passport Books for $50. The passport book provides supporters with over $300 in discounts and the opportunity to travel and taste delicious food from over 30 participating restaurants all around the Coulee Region! The offers are only valid from March 1, 2021 - April 30, 2021. Here are a few of the included restaurants: David Reays, Fayze's, HuHot Mongolian Grill, Angelini's Pizzeria & Ristorante, Nutbush City Limits, Texas Roadhouse, and The Crow. There are too many to list! Most of the coupons are a buy one/get one free item. Luther High School has been given a few passport books to sell. Please stop by if interested.

In order to operate efficiently and with good organization, the Good Steward Resale Shop employs Store Coordinators. This paid position requires leadership, organizational skills, the ability to communicate and train others, and the exercising of good judgment. It also requires some physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
The work will amount to about 24 hours per week, including Saturdays. The Store Coordinator must be committed to the Biblical principle, “Serve one another in love” (Galatians 5:13).

A full-time custodian position (Monday-Friday/2nd shift/40 hours per week) is available at Luther High School. Compensation is $14-$17/hour based on experience, with benefits. Congratulations to the Luther boys basketball team for their 2021 Coulee Conference Championship! This coming Friday, Luther will open WIAA tournament action, hosting the winner of the Kickapoo/Melrose-Mindoro game at 7:00 pm.  With a victory, the Knights would play again on Saturday, February 20 for the Regional Championship. This game starts at 7:00 pm and would also be at Luther. 
There are no general admission tickets available for the game.  Rather, each participating player from each team is allowed 4 spectators who must have a special admission ticket.
For those unable to attend, the game will be live-streamed on the NFHS NETWORK. WIAA tournament games will require a fee to view. Your best option is to purchase a one-month pass for $10.99.  This will give you access to any game that is covered through the NFHS Network.
For those with a ticket and able to attend the game(s), please remember:
  • Don’t come if feeling sick or have any Covid symptoms (do your pre-screening prior to coming!)
  • Bring your mask – it is required for entrance and must be worn throughout the event.
  • School doors will open at 6:15 pm. 
  • Admission is $6 per person – please bring exact change if possible.

The Big Knight is an annual fundraiser supporting Luther High School. This event is a dinner auction with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the students of Luther High. All who attend get to experience a PACKED silent auction followed by an elegant dinner and an INCREDIBLE live auction. More information will be coming soon!
The Luther Drama Department is asking for help preparing for the production of Peter and the Starcatcher.
Calling all builders, craftsmen, costumers, prop masters, and tinkerers - we need you! Some work can potentially be completed off-campus. A workday will be held this Saturday, February 20th at 8:30 AM. RSVP to Gregory Baures, Drama Producer, at baurgreg@luther.k12.wi.us or 608-783-5435 ext. 1580.
Families of seniors who have no other current or upcoming Luther students may request a check for the balance of their rebate account. This request must be made in writing and sent/left at the office at Luther or by email request to bergpegg@luther.k12.wi.us by February 28.
