OPEN HOUSE INVITATION

You are invited to attend an OPEN HOUSE at Luther High School on Saturday, February 10, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Attendees will be able to tour the new addition, see the equipment used for our Industry 4.0 and welding courses, and learn about the curriculum. We hope you can join us on February 10!

Joseph Schmudlach was called to serve as a Spanish/English teacher at Luther High School. Joseph earned his undergraduate degree in education with a Spanish major from Martin Luther College in 2015. He has nine years of experience. He taught at Cleveland Public High School in Cleveland, Minnesota, Mankato State University, and Colegio B Group in Carmen de la legua, Callao. Since 2018, he has been serving at Evergreen Lutheran High School as a Spanish/English teacher. We keep Joseph in our prayers.

DRAMA NEWS

Luther High School’s Spring Musical, The Secret Garden, is less than 2 months away! Join us for this compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal as 10-year-old Mary Lennox begins her new life in Yorkshire after being orphaned in India. Ticket sales start February 5!

SET CONSTRUCTION

Help is needed to build, paint, and create scenery and functional props for Luther's Spring Musical. No experience is needed, and we have tools available for those who aren't able to bring their own! Join us on stage on Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM or a portion of that time! Set construction dates are January 20, 27, and February 3, 10, 17, and 24.

DONATIONS NEEDED

The production staff for The Secret Garden is looking for any donations to the Drama Department of fake plants, flowers, vines, etc. that you no longer want. We will be taking these items apart to use with our sets, props, and costumes. If you want anything back, it will not be in one piece.

Philippines Ministry Update

CROSS TO GLORY CONCERT

This Sunday, January 21 at 3:00 PM, the band Cross to Glory will be live in concert. They will be featuring music from their latest album "10,000 x 10,000." Cross to Glory is led by Pastor Chris Christenson, from Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Clark Thaldorf will be joining the band on bass guitar, Paul Adickes on drums, Phoebe Christenson on violin, Mike Madson on guitar, Mike Rodman on percussion, and Lacie Noland on piano. The concert is free and open to the public. Please join us for an uplifting afternoon of original music.

Ladies, on Thursday, February 1, Good Steward will be hosting a prom dress event from 5:45-7:45 PM. Refreshments will be provided. Come shop and find the perfect dress for the Jr./Sr. Banquet!
