4th Degree Exemplification - Feb 2nd
This weekend's 4th degree exemplification is shaping up to be quite the event. I don't think it is too late to join the many brothers who will be there, even if you just come up for the day. You can have a great time in Rohnert Park, then come back and have a great time at Scout Sunday and watch the Super Bowl.

If you want to join in on the fun, you need to contact Tom ( [email protected] ) right away!
Scout Sunday this Weekend - Feb 3rd
This Sunday is Scout Sunday. A Scout mass will be celebrated at 8 am at St Michael Church. We will have Color Corps there to support the event. Please make arrangements, if you can, to attend and provide additional Knights support for our Scouts and Scout leaders.

Our date is March 16th, which is looking good given the tough crab conditions so far this year. We will need everyone's help to make this a successful fundraiser.

Many jobs are for pre-event preparation if you would prefer to enjoy the dinner on the day of the event. Other jobs are during the event if you just like throwing a big party...there something for everyone.

Click below and pick what matches best with how you would like to help. Also Tickets are now available. You can buy at meetings, after masses or online (link below).
RCCBB Planning Underway
Last years event was amazingly popular!! And Barry s raising the targets for this year. After making a lot of adjustment to handle the crowds and working with the parish to coordinate facilities, RCCBB planning is underway. Sign Ups will come a little later, but if you want to be involved on the early planing team, contact Brother Barry Buckett!
Recent Events
Walk for Life West Coast
A Livermore contingent made their annual trip to San Francisco’s Civic Center to participate in the 15 th Annual West Coast Walk for Life.
They joined tens of thousands of supporters at the pre-march rally and heard about recent pro-life developments, listened to amplified fetal heartrate monitors for several women participating in the march and were moved by story of a woman who joined the pro-life movement after her experience working inside a Planned Parenthood.

The highlight of the day was marching in unity with 50,000+ participants of all ages, races, religions and socioeconomic status hailing from all across the western United States. The massive crowd affirmed their respect for life from conception to natural death by marching peacefully along Market Street to the Ferry Building. While security personnel were in place to prevent confrontations like those at the Washington DC Walk for Life, there were no issues in San Francisco; the small number of counter protestors along the route shared harsh remarks and gestures as the supporters of life respectfully walked by, responding only with prayers and songs.
Novena for Life
Thank you to everyone for participating in the Novena for Life. I was happy to see many downloads of the Novena packet from the website. Our prayers are our strongest weapon in this battle of good vs. evil.

The 'Word' from our Sponsor

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. "
2 Timothy 1:7

Did you hear the one ... (ran out of Knight jokes)

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray, "Take only one. God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. One child whispered to another, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."
