In keeping with tradition, it will be a potluck dinner with drinks served by the council.

We are timing this installation so that everyone can participate in the Corpus Christi Candlelight Procession at St Michael Church afterward (starts at 8 p.m.). While not a mandatory follow-on activity, it will be a great way to kick-off the new Columbian Year boy participating in a ceremony dedicated to praying for the return of fallen-away Catholics.

Wings of Freedom (Bombers Event)
Wow...it there a better thing to watch than those B-17's, B-24's and P-51's taking off just a couple hundred feet away?!? I'm just sayin'.

Thanks are due to Brother Mark and Lady Claire Duguid for another year of excellence in supporting the annual Wings of Freedom Tour and our local veterans with the successful food concessions at the event.

Thanks are also going out to all the brother Knights who signed up to help and made it another success. While Sunday was cool and breezy, the weather on Memorial Day was beautiful the everyone had a great time grilling, serving and watching those incredible planes, jeeps, etc. Check out photos at the website soon...

Acts 1:14
Did you hear the one ...

Not so very long ago, an old German man was feeling guilty about something he had done, so he decided to go to Confession.

He said, "Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. I feel terrible because during World War II I hid a refugee in my attic."

The priest said, "But that's not a sin! I wouldn't feel bad about that if I were you!"

"But I made him agree to pay me 50 Marks for every week he stayed."

The priest said, "Well, I admit that certainly wasn't the most noble thing to do, charging the man to save his life -- but you did save his life, after all, and that is a good thing. Don't worry about it too much; God forgives."

The man said, "Oh thank you, Father, that eases my mind. I have only one more question to ask you -- Do I have to tell him the war is over?"
