Inspiring Retreat
Thanks to Michael Taranowski for arranging a fantastic retreat on Saturday, May 4th. Father Sergio really brought home the concept of Grace and how it relates to us in our everyday lives. The Mission San Jose grounds and chapel were beautiful and relaxing on a clear, sunny day...a perfect day away.
School Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to Chipotle on Saturday in support of the St Michael School fundraiser. For those of us who like Chipotle...truly a win-win for anyone who participated.

The 'Word' from our Sponsor

"Jesus said: I am the Way; I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father too. From this moment you know him and have seen him."

-John 14:6-7
Did you hear the one ...

Late one night, a burglar broke into a house he thought was empty. He tiptoed through the living room but suddenly he froze in his tracks when he heard a loud voice say: "Jesus is watching you!"

Silence returned to the house, so the burglar crept forward again. "Jesus is watching you," the voice boomed again. The burglar stopped dead again. He was frightened. Frantically, he looked all around. In a dark corner, he spotted a bird cage and in the cage was a parrot. He asked the parrot:

"Was that you who said Jesus is watching me?" "Yes," said the parrot. The burglar breathed a sigh of relief and asked the parrot: "What's your name?" "Clarence," said the bird.

"That's a dumb name for a parrot," sneered the burglar. "What idiot named you Clarence?" The parrot said, "The same idiot who named the Doberman Jesus."
