The Crab Feed is coming up: February 16th at RLCC. It is one of our biggest fundraisers and parties! It is time to get the ball rolling on planning for the event. If you want to be a part of the team, please come to the Convent this Thursday evening at 7 p.m.

I will bring some pizza, beer, wine and tunes and we can go over high level objectives, timelines and critical tasks. If you want to bring some treats, that will be great!

What: Pleasanton Coats for Homeless Program
When: Sunday 11/11
Where: Pancake breakfast

The Ron and Nancy Silva Coat Drive is a Pleasanton Council event. Used or new coats, hats and gloves are distributed annually to the homeless. The event started when Ron Silva, a police officer and Pleasanton Brother, passed away. At his funeral a story was told how he gave away his police overcoat to a homeless person. This sparked the idea for this annual event.

Brothers - if you have spare items that you would like to donate to this cause, please bring them to the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday 11/11 and Brother Chuck Bellavia will make arrangements to get them to the Pleasanton event on 11/13 for distribution to the homeless.
