Welcome to our 3 new brothers who joined us on Saturday!

Fr. Peter John Guarin made his 10th year anniversary as a priest more memorable by becoming a Knight!

Joining Fr. Peter are long time leaders of the Legion of Mary, Ricardo Echon and Joel Bautista.

Be sure to introduce yourselves and say hello to our new brothers when you see them!

Choate Family Gets a New Member too!
Congratulations to Sir Knight Chris and Lady Jhoana on the birth of their new bundle of joy, Amanda Marie Choate, born on Friday, October 25th.

Congratulations to the new grandparents too, Sir Knight Jeff and Lady Barbara!

Recent Events
Support Circle Gets an Ultrasound Machine
The ultrasound machine that our council raised funds for last Columbian year has been delivered to the Support Circle Pregnancy Clinic in Oakland.

A small group of us visited the clinic on Saturday to see the machine and have a quick tour of the clinic. It is heartwarming to know that in the short period of time since the machine has been in operation, it has already made a difference in the lives of dozens of women and their families.

THANK YOU! to our Culture of Life Director Nick Libby and PGK Wesley Arnold for leading the charge in making the acquisition and donation of this ultrasound machine possible.
Baby Gift Drive
Thanks to everyone who helped collect the baby gifts and donations at both churches this weekend. The turnout appeared to be less this year but we were still able to collect a truck load of supplies for the little ones!

Father Carl Arcosa will preside over a special mass and we will have our annual ceremony to remember those Livermore Knights and Squires who have passed away before us. A light reception will follow in the small hall.

2.2 For 22 / 5K Run for Vets at LPCC
The Las Positas College Veterans First Program and the Las Positas College Foundation, in partnership with the Sean Brock Foundation, will be hosting a 2.2k Challenge Walk and 5K Run for veterans on November 9, 2019 at Las Positas College. This is a family-friendly atmosphere, with an event expo, car show, and music concert by ThumpWhistle.

Funds raised by this event will go toward the Sean Brock Foundation Scholarship and the LPC Veterans First Program mental health programs for student veterans.

Our Council is supporting this event by sponsoring the BBQ lunch that will be provided to walkers, runners and guests.

Wreaths for Veterans
Rebekah Libby, daughter of brother Nick Libby, and her scout troop, American Heritage Girls, will participate in Wreaths Across America in December.

Wreaths Across America is a national ceremony where people across the U.S. participate by placing Christmas wreaths on the graves of veterans simultaneously throughout America.
 
On December 14, Rebekah and her troop will go to a cemetery to honor the fallen veterans there with Christmas wreaths purchased by sponsors.
