Welcome Our Newest Brother Knight
After saying goodbye to brother Dick Epp who moved to Texas earlier this week, we welcome our newest brother, John Ott, who joined us last Sunday. He is our first new member of the year and also the first one to have a video ceremony at our new office.

Brother Jim Huebner introduced the Knights to John while they were volunteering to deliver groceries to families at the last Community Care free grocery distribution.

Be sure to say hello when you see him at church or at our next event!

Welcome brother John!

Mesa Redonda Taco Sunday
Thanks to all who came out to support our Mesa Redonda's Taco Sunday fundraiser. The event was a huge hit. They had to stop taking orders before noon!

Special thanks to brother Ricardo Garcia and his family for leading the charge on this event to help members of the community who needed help.

Perspective
A prayer during this pandemic
May we who are merely inconvenienced
Remember those whose lives are at stake.

May we who have no risk factors
Remember those most vulnerable.

May we who have the luxury of working from home
Remember those who must choose between preserving their health or making their rent.

May we who have the flexibility to care for our children when their schools close
Remember those who have no options.

May we who have to cancel our trips
Remember those that have no place to go.

May we who are losing our margin money in the tumult of the economic market
Remember those who have no margin at all.

May we who settle in for a quarantine at home
Remember those who have no home.

During this time when we cannot physically wrap our arms around each other,
Let us yet find ways to be the loving embrace of God to our family, friends and neighbors.

Amen.
