Updates & Upgrades
Dominion continues to update its campus. This summer a new roof was put on the main building. This morning we added the new logos to the outside of the main building. The updated knight logo is proudly and prominently displayed above the main and middle school entrances.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE
Wednesday, September 26
We will meet at 8:30 AM for worship and corporate prayer at Dominion's flag pole. All students, parents, faculty and staff are encouraged to come in unity as we lift up in prayer our school, community, and nation.
See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.
See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.

Picture Day
Monday, September 24.
Lifetouch photography will be on campus to take your child's annual picture for the yearbook. Students will be allowed to wear the following for Picture day:
- OPTION #1: Nice collared shirt (or blouse) and jeans; no t-shirts.
- OPTION #2: Girls: nice blouses; Boys: dress pants, collared shirt, tie
- Note for girls: Shoulders must be covered and arm holes must be tight fitting; no skirts or dresses (a school uniform skirt would be acceptable)
- OPTION #3: School uniform.

"Limited Edition" Gold Hoodie
|
To raise awareness and support the "Rally!" Week, Dominion is offering a Gold Dominion Hoodie for $30. Proceeds will go to childhood cancer research.
- The gold hoodie is a school-approved addition to our regular uniform outerwear and can be worn throughout the year.
- Limited time only: Orders can be made online through September 16.
- Hoodies will be delivered the week of September 24.

All School Retreat
Oct 2-4, SharpTop Cove, Jasper, GA
Our annual "All School Retreat" is the first week of October. We are fast approaching our time at Sharp Top Cove. October 2nd will be here soon, so we wanted to let you know what to expect -- particularly for our new families!
The goal of retreat is to create community within DCS as well as to set up our year with a time of worship and spiritual growth. For many students this is one of their fondest memories here at DCS. We leave the text books, homework, and city limit signs behind and focus on strengthening, building, and creating relationships that often last for life.

DCAA Booster Club
All DCS families are invited to join the DCAA Booster Club.
The Booster Club provides financial support for the sports equipment, transportation, and other items not provided by student participation fees or the DCS annual athletic budget.
