Data is making waves everywhere, even in America's favorite pastime—baseball! These days, every major league team has a dedicated group of analysts crunching numbers to help the manager make in-game decisions. Whether it's figuring out which pitch a batter is most likely to swing at or predicting which part of the field they'll hit toward, data is the secret weapon.
At St. Pius X Parish School, we’re tapping into the power of data too—though with a different goal. This Friday, our incredible teaching staff will take a deep dive into interpreting the iReady program’s data to tailor learning for each student. Just like in baseball, where every player has a unique set of stats, each of our students has their own learning profile. The iReady program helps us track trends in student performance, allowing teachers to see exactly where each child excels and where they need more support to master essential skills.
While technology won’t replace the magic of a passionate teacher, iReady gives us valuable insights that enhance instruction, helping us create personalized learning paths for every student. This training is another step forward in our ongoing mission to help your child succeed and thrive.
It’s a lot like coaching—using the data to make strategic adjustments that lead to big wins. Stay tuned as we continue to embrace innovative ways to ensure our students' success, one data point at a time!

This Week in Photos:
Capturing the Spirit of St. Pius X
Every week at St. Pius X is filled with moments that define who we are as a school and parish community. From the joy of learning to the thrill of competition and the warmth of gathering in faith, these experiences shape not only our present but also our future.
Documenting these moments through photos allows us to preserve the memories that inspire us. They remind us of the dedication, love, and passion that go into building
minds, hearts, and souls. Each snapshot tells a story of growth, connection, and purpose.
As we look back on these captured memories, let them serve as a reminder of the incredible journey we share together, and may they inspire us to continue making every day meaningful.

Periodically throughout the year, Religious Education students and St. Pius X School students serve as Lectors, Gift Bearers and Readers of the Prayer of the Faithful (petitions). During these Masses, the homily is tailored for children and families.
Please sign up your children to help in a role of your choice for the appropriate Mass. After you've signed them up and as we get closer to the date of the Mass, you will be emailed with more detailed instructions according to the role you've chosen for your child. In addition to receiving these instructions, we also ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the Mass so that your child has the opportunity to rehearse.
