Due to forecasted low temperatures on Monday, Nov. 10th and Tuesday, Nov. 11th, LCA students may wear loose fitting jeans/thick joggers/sweatpants (gray, navy, black) to school for those days. Thicker coats may also be worn on these days.

Homecoming Update   


  • The High School Homecoming pep rally will be postponed and held on Thursday, November 20. The boys' homecoming court will be honored, and the king will be announced at that time. 
  •  Friday, November 21, Thanksgiving parties will be held as normal.
  • The girls’ homecoming court will be presented, and the queen will be crowned during halftime of the November 21 playoff game. November 14 is a bye-week for football and November 21 is our next home game. 

The Jr. and Sr. Beta Clubs are hosting a Holiday Food Drive to benefit a local food pantry. Our Holiday Food Drive begins Wednesday, November 12th, and will last through Wednesday, November 19th. We are asking for canned goods (vegetables, soup, chili, tuna, chicken, etc...), dried goods (beans, lentils, pasta, etc...), and pantry safe items (peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, ect...). Thank you for your support of this local ministry outreach.

LCA Uniform-approved sweatpants and a new sweatshirt are now on sale for pre-order on our store and order form. The sweatpants will be allowed to be worn anytime from December to February, and the sweatshirt, with school uniform shirt under, is approved year-round. Orders due by Nov 19th.

Monday: Red beans w/ rice, sausage, cornbread

Tuesday: Chicken and sausage gumbo, rice, potato salad

Wednesday: Baked pork chop, rice and gravy, corn

Thursday: Fried chicken breast, mac & cheese, steamed vegetables

Friday: BBQ burger with chips

Salad option- Deli meat and cheese over greens w/ crackers and dressing

Sandwich option- Ham, turkey, and cheese, on ciabatta bread with chips


Lunch Menu: Nov 17- Dec 5 (No lunch served on November 21)

Monday: Pork stew, rice, green beans

Tuesday: Chicken fajitas w/fixings, Spanish rice

Wednesday: Oven BBQ chicken, rice dressing, baked beans, dinner roll

Thursday: Beef stew, rice, mixed vegetables

Friday: Lasagna, side salad

Lunch Menu for the Year

Moms in Prayer is a group of LCA moms, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters who get together weekly to pray for the needs of the school. They meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6 pm at The Family Church.
