Tutoring Options
If your child needs tutoring, we have a few options available for them. Below you will find a list of what is available. In some cases there is a fee to be paid directly to the teacher. Teachers who teach your child will not be able to tutor your child if there is a fee involved. Contact each tutor via email for more details. 
Ms. N. Broussard – K & 1st grade all subjects. There is a fee. 
Mrs. Choate – 8th grade and under Math – There is a fee. 
Mrs. Membreno – All Grades Math and English –There is a fee. 
Mrs. A. Parker – 3 rd  & 4 th  grade Math and English – There is a fee. 
Please label EVERYTHING your child comes to school with, example: lunch box, backpack, each book, jackets, hoodies, PE uniforms and uniforms/shoes if your child changes into a PE uniform. Our lost and found is in the Elementary Gym.
Lafayette Christian Academy is looking to honor those who are serving and those who have served in various branches of the US Military . We are creating a database of active military and military veterans associated with LCA families. If there is a member of the US Military (active duty/veteran) in your life, please have him/her complete the form in the link below.
Moms In Prayer  now offers two meeting times. Choose which one works best for your schedule--Wednesday from 8:15-9:15am OR Thursday, from 1:15-2:15pm in The Family Church’s Family Room. This week’s prayer focus is 7th Mrs. Membreno. Contact Nicole McDaniel   to submit a prayer request or to get more information about Moms in Prayer.

Senior Beta

Sr. Beta meetings for November will be November 7th, and 28th from 2:35-3:35 in Mrs. Doucet's room.  Sr. Beta will be collecting items for the Veterans' Home for Christmas.  Flyers have been handed out, so if you wish to help us bless the veterans for Christmas, please see a Beta member for suggestions. Items such as socks, individually wrapped hard candies, pj's, etc are being collected. We will be collecting until Thanksgiving break.  Please bring items to Mrs. Doucet's room, room 529.  Thank you for your support.

Meeting Thursday, November 8th, from 2:30-4:00 for the Competition Team only.

Permission slips and payment for the competition are due on Thursday.
Students who have made the team have received a letter.

Competition is November 10th from 8-2:30 at the Lafayette Science Museum.

The LCA Boys Varsity Cross Country team won the District 7-1A meet on Tuesday, October 30th. The boys swept the top 4 places with junior Gavin Painter coming in 4th, 8th grader William Acosta coming in 3rd, freshman Logan Angelle placing 2nd, and sophomore Jaden LeBean winning 1st as the District Champion. Sophomore Caemon Scott placed 6th to round out the scoring for LCA, and senior Caleb Ferguson ran a new personal best time. On the girls side, sophomore Shanna Hayes also made the medal stand placing 3rd in the girls varsity race.

Catch LCA Cross Country for their final race this season at the State Championships at Northwestern State University on November 12th.

LCA's Swim Team is making waves! Christian Dilena qualified for Top 24 in both the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Breast. Emmie Montet qualified for the Top 24 in the 100 Free and the 100 Breast. Our Girls relay team also qualified for the Top 24.

Christian Dilena, Emmie Montet and the girls relay team- Emma Montet, Izzy Latiolias, Jillian Gesch and Amelia Landreneau will be competing tomorrow at Earl J Chris Pool at 1:00 pm!
