Tutoring Options
If your child needs tutoring, we have a few options available for them. Below you will find a list of what is available. In some cases there is a fee to be paid directly to the teacher. Teachers who teach your child will not be able to tutor your child if there is a fee involved. Contact each tutor via email for more details. 
Ms. N. Broussard – K & 1st grade all subjects. There is a fee. 
Mrs. Choate – 8th grade and under Math – There is a fee. 
Mrs. Membreno – All Grades Math and English –There is a fee. 
Mrs. A. Parker – 3 rd  & 4 th  grade Math and English – There is a fee. 
Mrs. Ruddock – Math 6th grade and under – There is a fee. 
Mrs. Ruddock – English 3rd grade and under – There is a fee. 
Please label EVERYTHING your child comes to school with, example: lunch box, backpack, each book, jackets, hoodies, PE uniforms and uniforms/shoes if your child changes into a PE uniform. Our lost and found is in the Elementary Gym.
Lafayette Christian Academy is looking to honor those who are serving and those who have served in various branches of the US Military . We are creating a database of active military and military veterans associated with LCA families. If there is a member of the US Military (active duty/veteran) in your life, please have him/her complete the form in the link below.

Moms In Prayer  now offers two meeting times. Choose which one works best for your schedule--Wednesday from 8:15-9:15am OR Thursday, from 1:15-2:15pm in The Family Church’s Family Room. This week’s prayer focus is 2nd Grade, Mrs. Richard Contact Nicole McDaniel   to submit a prayer request or to get more information about Moms in Prayer.
Fall Fundraiser Pick Up
When: Thursday, October 11th 12:00pm to 5:30pm
Where: The Family Church (canopy on the side closest to I-10)

Small orders in quantity or size will be sent home with students on Wednesday, October 10th. If you do not receive your order on Wednesday, then it was determined to be too large for your student to carry alone and will need to be picked up.  
Larger orders in quantity or size will need to be picked up on Thursday, October 11th from The Family Church under the canopy on the side closest to I-10.
Parents are welcome to pick up orders as early as 12:00pm to avoid waiting in line. If you anticipate not being able to collect your order during the set pick up times, please contact
Mrs. Marzell at  jamaciagiovanni@yahoo.com . Volunteers are still needed to help with distribution. Please contact Mrs. Marzell if you are available.

​Sr. Beta Meetings for the month of October are Oct. 11 and Oct. 25. Please make every effort to attend as we prepare for the Dinner Theatre and convention.

Beta Dinner Theatre and Silent Auction is scheduled for Nov 3, in the LCA Dining Hall. We are trying to raise money to send our Betas to convention. Come enjoy a nice dinner cooked by our very own Chef Ben and some great entertainment by Audience of One, our Theatre Troupe. There will also be a Silent Auction with some amazing items for bidding. Tickets are on sale for $25. See any Beta or Theatre student or Mrs. Doucet for tickets. Do not miss the fun! There will be a special surprise finish to the program!

There are several sponsorship options to choose from. Just remember, the additional sponsorships are limited and are on a first come basis. Sponsorship options for purchase can be found on the attachments.
