ALL SCHOOL

School Network

On any school day we have up to 1,000 devices using our network. We have a limited amount of bandwidth shared throughout campus, so it is important that it isn't wasted. Our network is for educational purposes.

I'm going to start blocking devices from our network that used excessive amounts of bandwidth in the past week. By far, the largest bandwidth drain comes from system updates.  Please take a moment and review your laptop's update settings. Any updates should be done at home on your own network, so be sure automatic updates are turned off.

Check your Gmail for more instructions from me. - Mr. Petra

Education Technology Day, celebrated on September 23, highlights the tools that enhance learning for students and teaching for educators. It also honors the professionals who make this technology work. Studies show that students in the U.S. who use devices for more than 60 minutes a week tend to perform better academically. Let's explore the history of educational technology and its benefits in education.
