The Sun Is Setting
The Sun is setting on two of the councils largest revenue generating programs.  The 300 Club Drawing and Home, Garden & Lifestyle Expo.

From the last 300 Club Drawing, there were 77 un-sold numbers that would have generated about $2,310 net revenue.  The 300 Club Drawing generated $6000 for charitable donations each year.

The Home, Garden & Lifestyle Expo last year generated approximately $16,000 in net revenue for charitable donations.   This years event would have realized a larger profit because many of the start up expenses had been paid for last year like signs and marketing materials.
St. Patrick's Dinner Was Bountiful
stpattys_day.jpg As usual, the Knights know how to plan a dinner.  The dinner for the St. Patrick's Day celebration was complete with corned beef, cabbage, potato and carrots.  Soda bread added a nice touch along with the coffee and dessert.  About 170 enjoyed the dinner.

The Barrowburn Band from Raleigh provided traditional Celtic music on acoustic instruments.  They provided energetic foot tapping music for the enjoyment of all.

Thanks go out to chairman Tom Ross and his team of volunteers for a dinner well planned and enjoyed.
