Fun Classes & New Arrivals

I had so much fun teaching my 1st Intarsia Colorwork Knitting class and observing Kathy's 1st Christmas Balls Workshop this week. I love seeing all the yarns that people are choosing and their excitement with their progress on their projects!

If you missed these classes/workshops but want some assistance, please get in touch. We're happy to help! We're both usually at Friday Fiber Friends if you want to ask questions.

I'm delighted to show-off my new Asterie Top! I love it! I used Straight Up DK to knit mine, but Cambria DK is also a perfect yarn for this project.

And I'm so happy to share new book releases this week for Knitting the U.S.A. and Star Wars: The Official Pattern Book.

Just me this week showing off my new Asterie Top!

Knitting the U.S.A. has Arrived!

I've been a huge Nancy Bates fan since her 1st book, Knitting the National Parks, released. And between that book and her 2nd book, Knitting California, I've probably knit ~50 of her beanies!

Her 3rd book, Knitting the U.S.A., launched this week. Whether it’s a hot air balloon in New Mexico, the sego lily of Utah, or the rainforests of Washington, each of the fifty states has manmade and natural landmarks, symbols, and traditions that make it unique.

I plan to cast on the California State beanie this weekend!

Kits are currently available for beanies from her 1st two books. Stay tuned for kits from her newest book!

Meet Nancy Bates on Sunday Nov 2nd from 12-3PM!

May the Force Be With You

Coming to you from a galaxy far far away (actually New York City, so not that far way)...

Crochet your own characters, creatures, costumes, and more from George Lucas’s epic film saga with the Star Wars: Crochet Your Way Across the Galaxy official pattern book!

This new book features beautiful projects in stunning full-color photography. The projects include patterns for toys, apparel, and home decor inspired by your favorite movie moments, characters, droids, ships, and more. The patterns are designed for crocheters at all skill levels!

Crochet kits including patterns and supplies are also available!

Fun with Christmas Ball Knitting

Huge thanks to local stitcher Kathy Tarman for teaching such a fun workshop on Christmas Ball knitting! These Christmas Balls are so addictive and the designs are endless.

To get you hooked, I created Christmas Ball Mini-Skein Sets in the festive colors! Each set includes enough yarn to make 5 Christmas Balls from Arne & Carlos' 65 New Christmas Balls to Knit book and enough wool batting to stuff one ball!
