This Sunday, August 3, head to the Racetrack Area of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa for Race for Wishes — a powerful, family-friendly evening full of excitement and heart.

From 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, enjoy a DJ, harness racing, kids’ activities, BBQ, a silent auction, and raffles—all while supporting an incredible cause. With a fundraising goal of $30,000, the event aims to help grant three life-changing wishes for local children facing critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish® Canada.

On July 17, Mādahòkì Farm launched its new Visitor Experiences—now open year-round Thursday to Sunday (11 am - 4 pm), to individuals and families for the first time.

Previously reserved for schools and group bookings, these Indigenous-led experiences invite guests to connect with the land, the rare Ojibwe Spirit Horses, and traditional teachings in a meaningful way. Highlights include Mishtadim, an Equine Assisted Learning program rooted in the Seven Grandfather Teachings.

With support from the Government of Canada, Ottawa Tourism, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Mādahòkì Farm is now welcoming visitors to explore and learn through an Indigenous lens.

Opening night with Royal Pyrotechnie at Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy lit up the sky in the best way possible.

The season kicked off in spectacular fashion last night at the Canadian Museum of History, with jaw-dropping fireworks, vibrant performances, and an incredible crowd. If you missed it—don’t worry! Les Grands Feux takes place every Wednesday and Saturday until August 16, offering something new and exciting each night.

Gates open at 6 PM – fireworks begin at 9 PM.

Last Wednesday, July 23, we worked with our client, Eighteen Hospitality Group, to host a progressive tasting tour that introduced media and influencers to four standout venues.

The evening began with mini martinis and negronis on the terrace at Restaurant E18hteen, followed by spicy margaritas and patio bites at Sidedoor. Guests then enjoyed signature cocktails and gourmet pairings at The Hyde and The Clarendon Tavern, before heading to Maison Charron for a riverside finale featuring rosé, wood-fired pizza, croquet, and live music.
