Ladies are invited to join us for a walk (.9 miles/19 minutes) to the Burke Farmer’s Market from the church parking lot. Enjoy friends, fellowship, some exercise, and some Farmer's Market shopping! We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 9:15 a.m., will start walking at 9:30 a.m., and will return by Noon. Invite a friend or neighbor to join us.

VBS is less than one month away! We are so excited to welcome over 140 kids and their families to VBS this summer! If you want to be part of sharing the Good News of Jesus, but can’t attend as a volunteer, here a few ways you can help:

VBS PREP DAY:

You don’t have to be crafty! We’ll tell you what to do! If you are interested in helping us get things ready for VBS, join us Thursday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m.-Noon in the Family Center. Please email Katie at katie@knoll.org to RSVP.

Check out our Amazon Wish List. We will be adding items to the list as we continue planning, so keep checking back! All items purchased can be shipped directly to the church. 

PRAY:

We need your prayers! Thanks to everyone who picked up a prayer card the past couple of Sundays. If you are interested in being part of our prayer team, let us know (katie@knoll.org) and we will give you updates on things we could use prayer for.

We have shifted our food collection support to MISSION:NOVA, who’s connected with our longtime mission partner, Central Union Mission. They are currently providing food for folks in need twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. These needs include canned and dried beans, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned soup, boxed or bagged rice and pasta, cooking oil, and masa flour. Please limit cans to single serving size, dried beans/rice/pasta to 1 lb. bag/boxes, and cooking oil to 1 quart bottles. We will have containers outside the foyer doors of the church on the 2nd Sunday of each calendar quarter. If you are interested in volunteering with food packing and distribution, please contact Pat O’Rourke at pejorourke@yahoo.com.

If you have a preschooler and you are interested in learning more about our amazing preschool, please contact Kristin O’Dell to arrange a tour. Knollwood’s Mission Ministry was able to assist Central Union Mission by providing 15 kids study Bibles (English & Spanish) for their sponsored “Kids Bible Extravaganza” coming in July.
