Join Pastors Chris and Moises this Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the Worship Center for a time of prayer and worship for the 21 Days of Prayer Challenge.
ON GUARD
BEGINS THIS SUNDAY
JANUARY 22
What would you say if someone asked you if there is proof for Christianity? 1 Peter 3:15 says we should "always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." This class is designed to help you be ready with those defenses and reinforce the hope of Christ in your mind and in your heart. On Guard will meet Sundays from 9 - 10 am. Register by January 20 if you need childcare.
Rising 7th - 12th graders are invited to join us from 3:45 - 5:00 pm as we continue our four-week series titled Not Yet. We’ll talk about all the questions, fear, frustration, and excitement that thinking about our futures can bring as we explore passages from Ecclesiastes, Revelation, and more. We will have a large group talk followed by small group discussions to help apply the message.
FUSION ESCAPE ROOM
THIS SUNDAY, JANUARY 22
12:00 - 2:00 P.M.
Grades 4-6 are invited to a fun winter-themed escape room. Students will team up to solve the puzzles and find the code to unlock the box. Pizza lunch provided. Contact Mary Mendez at mary@knoll.org with any questions.
Our student ministry (grades 7-12) is planning to attend the FUGE camp at James Madison University from June 19 - 23. This camp is going to be a great time where students will get to play crazy games, enjoy time together and worship God together. Students must register by February 5.
NicaWorks is a missionary organization supported by Knollwood providing life-changing resources to those in need in Nicaragua. At the end of January, Missions Committee member, Judy Corcoran, will be traveling to Nicaragua with a group of other local churches that support NicaWorks. She’ll see first hand the impact of our contributions and learn more about how Knollwood could provide future, direct in-country support with our people and resources.
If you would like to help defray the approximately $1,500 expense associated with this trip, you can donate via check or online. Just include "Missions - NicaWorks" as a memo on your check or select the fund type with that same name if giving online. If you use text to give, include "nicaworks." It will be exciting to hear her report from the field when she returns!
SANCTITY OF LIFE MINISTRIES
BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN
FEBRUARY 5-26
Knollwood's Missions Ministry is sponsoring a Baby Bottle Campaign in partnership with Sanctity of Life Ministries. Bottles will be available for pickup at the church on February 5th. During the month of February, fill the bottles with loose coins, cash, and checks. Bottles must be returned to Knollwood on Feb 26th. All donations go directly to SLM's work - providing compassionate support, education, and medical services to those who face unplanned pregnancies throughout Northern Virginia.

Praise the Lord! We received approval from Willow Springs ES in Fairfax to allow our team to use their library for a Good News Club. We will send out a parental permission form through the school in the next week or so. Please pray that many parents would enroll their children in the club. The team will host the club every Tuesday starting February 7.
