All are invited to join us as we share communion during the morning worship service on January 29. At Knollwood, we practice open communion for any and all who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. If you are watching online, please gather your elements and join us in communion.

We are collecting the following items this month in support of the food pantry at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church: dried black beans, dried lentils, 1lb or 2lb white or brown rice, granola bars, and snack size raisins boxes. Please drop your items in the donation boxes outside of the Worship Center. Email Glenn Keller with any questions.

Fusion kids (grades 4-6) will get to experience worship, communion, and a message about the importance of community, which is exactly what we’re trying to build with our Fusion kids! Stop by the table to the left of the worship center doors to grab an activity bag. If they complete the Sermon Notes page and turn it in to Bonnie or Brian Conaway after the service, they will receive a candy prize.

Rising 7th - 12th graders are invited to join us from 3:45 - 5:00 pm as we conclude our four-week series titled Not Yet. We’ll talk about all the questions, fear, frustration, and excitement that thinking about our futures can bring as we explore passages from Ecclesiastes, Revelation, and more. We will have a large group talk followed by small group discussions to help apply the message.

Our student ministry (grades 7-12) is planning to attend the FUGE camp at James Madison University from June 19 - 23. This camp is going to be a great time where students will get to play crazy games, enjoy time together and worship God together. Students must register by February 5.

Please be praying for Judy as she is in Nicaragua seeing first hand the impact of Knollwood's support of NicaWorks, If you would still like to help defray the approximately $1,500 expense associated with this trip, you can donate via check or online. It will be exciting to hear her report from the field when she returns!

Knollwood's Missions Ministry is sponsoring a Baby Bottle Campaign in partnership with Sanctity of Life Ministries. Bottles will be available for pickup at the church on February 5th. During the month of February, fill the bottles with loose coins, cash, and checks. Bottles must be returned to Knollwood on Feb 26th. The support SLM raises from the bottles goes directly toward our life-affirming and life-giving work.

It’s that time of year…Preschool Registration for 2023/2024! If you have a preschooler and you are interested in learning more about our amazing Knollwood Preschool, please contact Kristin O'Dell to arrange a tour. Registration for Knollwood families will begin on February 8th and as a church member, your registration fee is waived. You can learn more about us at Knoll.org/preschool and by taking a tour of our incredible school.

Praise the Lord! We received approval from Willow Springs ES in Fairfax to allow our team to use their library for a Good News Club. We will send out a parental permission form through the school in the next week or so. Please pray that many parents would enroll their children in the club. The team will host the club every Tuesday starting February 7.
