We are collecting the following items this month in support of the food pantry at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church: dried black beans, dried lentils, 1lb or 2lb white or brown rice, granola bars, and snack size raisins boxes. Our student ministry (grades 7-12) is planning to attend the FUGE camp at James Madison University from June 19 - 23. This camp is going to be a great time where students will get to play crazy games, enjoy time together and worship God together. Students must register by this Sunday, February 5.

On February 12, parents and guardians are invited to join their students at KSM. We will be together the whole time from 3:45-5:00 pm with youth students competing against their family members in a series of different games. Last year, we played games such as beach ball volleyball and Battle of the Ages Trivia, and this year will include even more fun and games! So students and parents come on out for a time of connecting with and competing against one another! Note: Students are welcome to come even if their guardian cannot attend.

Knollwood's Missions Ministry is sponsoring a Baby Bottle Campaign in partnership with Sanctity of Life Ministries. Bottles will be available for pickup at the church this Sunday, February 5th. During the month of February, fill the bottles with loose coins, cash, and checks. Bottles must be returned to Knollwood on Feb 26th. The support SLM raises from the bottles goes directly toward their life-affirming and life-giving work.

It’s that time of year…Preschool Registration for 2023/2024! If you have a preschooler and you are interested in learning more about our amazing Knollwood Preschool, please contact Kristin O'Dell to arrange a tour. Registration for Knollwood families will begin on February 8th and as a church member, your registration fee is waived. You can learn more about us at Knoll.org/preschool and by taking a tour of our incredible school.

We offer deepest thanks to Knollwood for supporting us during the recent tragic loss of our daughter Laura Nicole Rogers, August 29, 1986 – January 6, 2023. Your cards, meals, and prayer support mean more to us than we can express. Laura’s Celebration of Life was held Saturday, January 28th, in Portland, Oregon. God began to heal our hearts at this beautiful ceremony and continues to hold us in His love. Pray for God’s peace to be on us. You can read her obituary and see photos of her life here.
