CENTRAL UNION MISSION

SPECIAL FOOD COLLECTION

NEXT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3

Central Union Mission recently opened a new food pantry in Arlington, VA. The name, MISSION: NOVA is currently providing folks in need food twice a week. They desperately need canned & non-perishable food. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we as a congregation have a great opportunity to help those in our area. We will have several containers outside the foyer doors of the church. Hebrew 13:16 states “And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God”.  Please contact Glenn Keller with any questions at glenn.keller@hotmail.com.

THANK YOU BREAKFAST

Some of you may have seen a sign a few weeks ago as you came into church or heard someone referencing the KRUDS. Pastors Chris and David hosted a group of these KRUDS this past week to thank them for the time, effort, and expertise they share with the Knollwood Community. KRUDS is a self developed moniker that stands for the Knollwood Retired Underutilized Dudes Society. They give so much to the church and we are so thankful!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE

WHO HELPED WITH THE CHURCH WORKDAY!

Thank you to everyone who came out for the church work day last Saturday! It was an amazing bunch of folks that churned through project after project, completing almost every item on the list. We even had a team working with Katie Conaway in the Kid's Ministry spaces that powered through all the jobs she had planned. There are too many individuals to name, but a huge THANK YOU to all that participated. You are the best!
