WINTER COAT DRIVE

Winter in DC can be dangerously cold and there are people in our community who don’t have the proper clothing. We are collecting items for our ministry partner, Central Union Mission. You can help by donating new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves of all sizes for men, women and children. We will be collecting items in the box in the foyer through Sunday, December 5. Contact Glenn Keller with any questions.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW KNOLLWOOD FAMILIES!
We had a great time at the “New to Knollwood” lunch last Sunday with 13 new families in attendance. We are so excited to see so many new families jumping right in to get involved. Thank you to everyone who came out to meet the staff and get to know each other. We ate lunch, shared stories, and played a fun game. We’re so glad you’re here!
CVII MISSIONS UPDATE:
A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!
Every year in July, a large container of Christmas gifts for 200 children is shipped from Children’s Vision International’s Wisconsin office to their operation location in Bogota, Columbia. With the many current shipping issues, the container didn’t ship until October 12. It was moved by truck, train and ship and arrived on November 9. That very same evening it was announced that all ports would be closed and no more ships would be unloaded until after Christmas! The kids and many others will have Christmas this year. It was another of God’s miracles!
