SUNDAY MORNING CLASS

SUNDAY, APRIL 26

Join us Sunday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. in the Murphy Room for a special ‘Year of the Bible’ presentation in which we will search for answers to some major questions about the Old Testament: ‘Where did the Philistines come from and why were they bothering the Israelites? Why did Israel split into two kingdoms? Who was Ba’al? And why did Jezebel want the Israelites to worship him so badly?’ Presented by Bill Linney.

”I’ve Got a Fire” by Pat Barrett is about a deep, Spirit-filled passion for God that can’t be contained. It highlights how encountering Him ignites a steady, sustaining fire that shapes your life and faith. This song is filled with JOY!

NICAWORKS BIKE COLLECTION UPDATE

Great job Knollwood! We collected 106 bikes last Saturday. In doing this we established a new milestone. In the last 10 years we have collected 1078 bikes for Nicaragua. The bike ministry has been a tremendous success and this summer they will be building a third store in Nicaragua. The bike stores enable folks to learn vocational training and management skills. The proceeds from the bike sales are used by the ministry to provide healthcare, food security, education, youth mentoring, and leadership development.
