MAY MISSIONARY FOCUS

CRU/STORY RUNNERS

We partner with a missionary who serves with StoryRunners, a Cru Ministry. StoryRunners equips oral learners in unreached people groups to produce oral Bible stories in order to launch church planting movements among those who don't have access to the Bible in a way that speaks to their hearts. Our missionary will be traveling internationally to these places throughout the year to help facilitate the School of Storying that works with local believers to produce the oral Bible stories in their heart language. These stories will then be used in a ministry of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

THANK YOU FROM ICC

Last June, International Christian Concern (ICC), one of Knollwood's mission partners, asked if Knollwood would consider making a financial donation to help provide travel to the United States for the family of an Ethiopian Orthodox Bishop who had fled Ethiopia in 2022 after being subject to severe persecution by the government. While in the U.S., the Bishop sought asylum for himself and his family who had to remain in Ethiopia. Knollwood made a contribution to the travel fund and recently the Bishop's family was able to travel to the U.S. and reunite with the Bishop. ICC has expressed its deepest gratitude to Knollwood for helping to make it possible for the Bishop and his family to be reunited. This is a great testament to God's faithfulness and the generosity of the Knollwood congregation for providing assistance in this effort.
