There are several transportation options from the Reno-Lake Tahoe International Airport to the hotels. Please refer to our Transportation page for details. 

Lake Tahoe has a FREE, on-demand shuttle to get around town called Lake Link, which takes you to South Shore beaches, trails, entertainment, and nightlife (does not provide airport transportation). Catch the service between 7am and 9pm on weekdays and 7am and 10pm on weekends. 

Get excited for the charity raffle! During the breaks, the raffle will be in the exhibit hall. Come check out all of the fun prizes and donate to our conference charity, TFS. We accept cash and credit card donations. Raffle tickets are $1 each or get 25 for $20.

TFS offers a free children’s overnight camping program exploring Sierra Nevada trails, lakes and peaks with new camp friends!

The photo booth will be available in the exhibit hall throughout the conference, but make sure to take fun photos during the Dinner Event on Wednesday evening.

Registration will be open from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm PT on Sunday, September 29, on the Concourse at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to pick up your name badge and conference materials. If you need assistance during the conference, the registration staff can help you.  

Payments can be made at the onsite registration desk.

Early fall in Lake Tahoe is mostly mild weather with sunny skies. The evenings can cool down, as can indoor spaces with air conditioning. Trying to find a room temperature at which everyone can be comfortable is nearly impossible. Therefore, we highly recommend you bring a sweater and light jacket and dress in layers so you can adjust accordingly. You will do quite a bit of walking, so we also recommend that you wear comfortable shoes.

There’s a lot to love about South Lake Tahoe. Its vast, clear waters have been the backdrop for movies and TV shows, and its impressive size ranks it among North America’s largest. Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America and second deepest in the United States.

The main draw of the south shore is the downtown area. On the Nevada side of the downtown area are four casino resorts. On the California side is the large pedestrian-friendly Heavenly Village which is filled with restaurants, shops, bars, live outdoor music, and the Heavenly Gondola, which runs almost year-round.
