The City of Boca Raton kicks-off its holiday event season with
a festive evening of music, snow flurries, holiday photo ops, a magnificent tree lighting, and more activities at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Here are some smart tips to #KnowBeforeYouGo!

What to Expect?
The first festive event of the season, the Holiday Tree Lighting will be an amazing evening the whole family can enjoy.

Date: Saturday, November 18, 2023

Time: 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Location: Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real

Schedule of Events:

6:00pm: Holiday Celebration
The Holiday Tree Lighting celebration begins!
  • LIVE music performances
  • Snow flurries 
  • Craft station
  • Selfie photo opportunities with Santa and a Giant Snow Globe
  • Costumed elves, snowman & reindeer
  • Holiday Market
  • Variety of food & drinks for purchase
  • Listen to the tropical rhythms of the Sound of Aloha Band

7:15pm: Ceremonial Tree Lighting
The ceremonial lighting of the tree will be led by Mayor Scott Singer, along with City Council, and will illuminate simultaneously with Mizner Park's lighting display throughout the plaza.

7:30pm: Holiday Stage Show
Enjoy the music mix of holiday classics, Top 40 hits, and more from

Mizner Park will also transform into a holiday wonderland, with 50,000 LED lights adorning 75 palm trees throughout the park, plus garland, wreaths, and festive 2D light displays for fun photo ops! 

Weather: The event continues rain or shine.

Food Vendors: There will be a variety of food for purchase.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available at Mizner Park Amphitheater.

Have a question or need assistance? Ask a City staff member. They will be in red "EVENT STAFF" shirts and can help you throughout the event.

How to Get There and Where to Park?
The best places to park and how to arrive and depart safely.

Parking
Free and ample parking available at:
  • City Hall: 201 W. Palmetto Park Road
  • Building Administration: 200 NW 2nd Avenue
  • Downtown Public Library: 400 NW 2nd Avenue
  • City Parking Lot: 300 NW 2nd Avenue
  • Limited parking available at Mizner Park garages
Metered parking:
  • On-street metered parking available throughout downtown

Bicyclists: Bike racks are available in front of City Hall and in Mizner Park. Be sure to wear reflective clothing and add reflective material to your bike for safety.

Watch the Tracks: For those walking to and from the event, look and listen before crossing any train tracks.

Charge While You Attend: An electric car charging station is available at City Hall and the Downtown Library.

Plan Ahead: No matter how you are getting to the event, leave early and plan ahead in order to arrive to safely and on time.
