Join us at the Spanish River Library for our annual Touch A Truck event on March 16 from 9:30am-12pm . Round up the whole family to see, touch, climb aboard and learn about our City’s many fascinating trucks and vehicles. Find out why they are all such an important part of our community.

*Spanish River Library west parking lot will be closed on Friday, March 15, for event setup.
What to expect:
  • FREE event featuring a fire engine, sanitation truck, aerial bucket truck, dump truck, beach tractor, rescue boat and much more! Truck operators will be on hand to demonstrate how their vehicles work and explain what they do. Special truck-themed storytimes will also occur throughout the morning.
  • Date - Saturday, March 16 | 9:30am - 12pm
  • Location - Spanish River Library (1501 NW Spanish River Blvd)
  • Come one, come all - Event is free and open to the public.

Housekeeping Items:
  • Go Green, Bring Your Canteen - Please bring your own refillable water bottle - you can visit the City of Boca Raton's Mobile Aqua Refreshing Station (MARS) to refill your water bottle for FREE! Look for it near the food truck area.
  • Food Truck Invasion - Food trucks will be on hand selling breakfast, snacks and cool treats.
  • Weather - The event will continue through rain or shine.
  • Pets - Even though we love our furry friends, please remember to leave your pets at home.
  • Restrooms - Restrooms are located on the first and second floors of the library.
  • Lost and Found - Lost and found items can be located inside the library at the checkout desk.
How to get there and where to park:
  • Location, location, location - Spanish River Library is located on the north side of Spanish River Boulevard just west of the I-95 overpass.
  • Free onsite parking available - Limited parking will be available in the east parking lot.
  • Additional free parking - Additional parking will be available across the street at the Countess de Hoernle Park/Spanish River Athletic Facility (1000 NW Spanish River Boulevard).

Safety Reminder from Police & Fire Services:
  • It takes four seconds or less for someone to break into your vehicle - After you park your car and head to the event, be sure to lock your car and take all personal items with you. Never leave your keys in your vehicle.
  • Plan ahead - Talk to your family members about a potential meet up spot around the event area in case you get separated.
