See You in Nashville!

We look forward to welcoming you next week in Nashville to the record attendance-breaking 2019 AHIA Annual Conference! Following are a few resources and reminders to help you navigate through the Conference at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Should you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch with AHIA headquarters.
Important Resources & Reminders

Attendee List
Click here to see who will be joining you in Nashville. With several networking events built into the conference, the availability of the Connected Community, community@ahia.org, and free conference WiFi, there are several ways you can connect with your colleagues through the conference. And with our attendance shattering records this year, there will be plenty of faces to meet!
Onsite Conference Guide
Click here to preview the Onsite Guide before you arrive in Nashville. The Onsite Guide features a site map, an "at-a-glance" conference schedule, session information, exhibitor details, special event information, and frequently asked questions.

Room Seating/Capacity Policy
Be sure to allocate enough time to get to your preferred sessions. Seating in all sessions is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we encourage you to arrive early to secure a seat in those sessions.

Several of our sessions are very popular, and we have made every effort to accommodate all pre-registrations. To ensure adequate seating, we ask that you attend those sessions you pre-registered for. If you alter your itinerary, which you may do at any time, please select perimeter seating in those sessions, in consideration of those attendees who pre-registered.

Registration Hours
Please visit us at the Registration Desk, located on the second floor in the Broadway Ballroom Foyer, to pick up your registration/welcome materials and name badge.

Through your conference stay, AHIA volunteers and staff will be happy to help answer any questions you may have about the conference, your membership, or the organization. Just ask! Registration desk hours are below:

Sunday, September 15: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
Monday, September 16: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

This year's Guidebook guide is now available for download . We strongly encourage you to download the guide to enhance your experience while in Nashville. You'll be able to plan your day with a personalized schedule, browse exhibitors and sponsors, and view maps and general show info.

To access the AHIA Guidebook conference guide, follow these simple steps:
  1. Download the Guidebook app from your mobile app store
  2. Once installed, search  AHIA under "Find Guides"
  3. You may also scan the QR code below when under the "Find Guides" section
  4. Once found, click "Get" and the guide will load
Conference Handouts Posted

Presentations and handouts for the concurrent sessions are posted to both the AHIA website as well as the Guidebook guide. Get a jump on the conference and access them today!

Please note that not all presentations/handouts are posted for every session. Some presenters do not wish for their materials to be posted. Further, the Guidebook guide only allows for PDF documents to be uploaded. Some handouts are in Excel and do not transfer well to PDF. Please refer to the website to download those additional materials. Presentations are only available to registered attendees. AHIA members will login with your member login information. Non-members, please click the "Forgot your password?" link and follow the steps to retrieve it.

Please note that printed copies of presentation materials will not be provided. It will be your responsibility to print these in advance if you wish to have hard copy materials. We will have our Cyber Cafe near registration, where online and printing capabilities will be available.
Annual Conference Session Recordings

New this year, AHIA will be recording and selling conference sessions! This will allow attendees to attend multiple concurrent sessions after the conference wraps up. To learn more and place your order, click here.

Last But Not Least!

  • It's looking to be quite hot and potentially a little wet while we're in Nashville, with highs in the 90s. But that doesn't mean the hotel won't get chilly. Be sure to bring a layer in case you're in a cold room.
  • Looking for fun things to do? Nashville is flush with entertainment, history, culture, and food and booze! Be sure to take some of it in. Learn more about what Nashville has to offer here.
